Do I need to bring my dog's food?

Yes. Please plan to bring your dog’s regular food, as most pals do better staying on their regular diet and have less trouble with upset stomachs & accidents from switching food. Please pre-package your pal’s meals in ziplocks for their stay or provide details on feeding instructions at your meet and great!

What else can I bring?

We provide clean comfy cots and blankets all around the home for our pals. We’re okay if you bring along something from home to keep them more cozy during their stay. Toys are allowed, but we ask that you label them. We do our best to return them, but we are not responsible if a toy is damaged or lost.

Do you require dogs to be spayed/neutered?

No! We ask that a meet and greet is scheduled prior to daycare and one daycare stay scheduled prior to an overnight stay. At PPH we look out for the needs of our customers and their furry friends. We can accomodate intact dogs due to the size of our facility and play environment. Please note, if your pal demonstrates bully behaviors, marks territory indoors or is aggressive to other pals we will notify the owner and adjust their stay to our private accomodation suite to keep their pal and other pals safe. There is an up-charge for private accomodations.

Do you accept Puppies?

YES! We love puppies and understand they may need a little more attention. We typically schedule our staff based on each of our pal’s needs and the amount of pals in residence. Puppies may be diapered depending on their ability to follow our potty schedule. Diapering cost is $5 per day and will be determined based on need only.

Can you provide my dog with medication? Is there a charge?

We are happy to administer your dog’s medication for a small fee of $5 per day. If the medication is administered by injection there is a one time cost of $20. We ask that the medication be in its original container with instructions for administration. Please note, the fees associated with medications assists our staff in tracking, documenting and storing medications in a professional manner in addition to ongoing and up to date training on medication administration.

What do you do in case of illness or injury?

You can rely on us to provide exceptional care for your dog at all times. If your dog experiences an injury or illness, we will promptly evaluate the situation to decide on the most appropriate course of action. Your dog’s health and safety are our top priorities. Depending on the circumstances, we will either take your dog to your regular veterinarian or transport them to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic. If such a situation arises, we will notify you as quickly as possible.

With different size dogs, how do I know my smaller dog will be safe?

For the comfort of our pals, we classify and separate the dogs into different sleep and play areas based on size, activity level, age, and temperament. Rest assured that your pals are always supervised and have a caretaker present.

We evaluate our daily pals and monitor their needs to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience. All the guests are sociable and friendly. If ever we have a pal that is displaying suspicious behavior we will change their boarding/care to private and notify the owner immediately to protect them and all other pals.

I have an older dog that prefers to sleep all day. Will my dog be able to rest and relax?

Of course! Our pals are grouped together for play or relaxation based upon their needs, temperament, size and age. Shy or non-active pals are also welcome to skip play time if they’re not interested.

Do pals ever get hurt?

Just like children playing on a playground, dogs at daycare may occasionally come home with small scratches or minor injuries. While we strive to minimize all risks, it’s possible for our furry friends to end up with minor nicks or scrapes. Although this is not frequent, it can happen. If such an incident occurs, we will ensure that an incident report is completed.

Can you accept "intact" (non-neutered) dogs?

Intact dogs means they haven’t been neutered or fixed in any way. At PPH we look out for the needs of our customers and their furry friends. We can accomodate intact dogs due to the size of our facility and play environment. Please note, if your pal demonstrates bully behaviors or is aggressive to other pals we will notify the owner and adjust their stay to our private accomodation suite to keep their pal and other pals.
